The in-universe [[history]] of the Omegaverse can vary wildly. In my version, dynamics first developed around 1500 BC in Central Asia. They spread to Europe by the mid-Roman Empire, and to the British Isles sometime before 500 AD. Since I'm mostly interested in the associated English language [[pronouns]], [[honorifics]], and other [[terminology]], my worldbuilding is mostly set in the British Isles, with minor references to France and Scandinavia. | The in-universe [[history]] of the Omegaverse can vary wildly. In theotherwolfinsideyou's version, a humanoid species evolved concurrently with homo sapiens, but from a common ancestor of wolves instead of apes. This species had alpha/omega genders instead of male/female, called homo beluinus. This species retained heat/rut cycles, scent glands, and more animalistic instincts. This species encountered homo sapiens and interbred with them, creating the modern omegaverse human species. | In theotherwolfinsideyou's version, a humanoid species evolved concurrently with homo sapiens, but from a common ancestor of wolves instead of apes.
